Susan Brownie
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Brownie joined Cogent in 2007, bringing with her more than 20 years of financial expertise. Most recently, she spent almost eight years with HealthStream, a publicly-traded, healthcare technology services company. While there, she was responsible for directing all financial and accounting matters, working with the Board of Directors and overseeing Human Resources.
Prior to HealthStream, Ms. Brownie worked with Big Four accounting firm KPMG, serving clients in technology, retail and service industries. During her career, she has been involved in more than 20 initial, secondary and private offering and financing transactions, along with more than 30 acquisitions. She holds a BBA degree from the College of William & Mary and is a Certified Public Accountant.
