Kim Dickinson
VP Operations
Ms. Dickinson currently serves as vice president of operations for Cogent Healthcare. In this role, she oversees operations at ten facilities in the central region of the country. Prior to joining Cogent, Ms. Dickinson was the director of the inpatient management program and patient safety officer at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. She was responsible for the coordinated leadership of multiple departments. Ms. Dickinson has also served as the director of hospital services and continuing professional development at HealthPartners in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was accountable for administrative leadership and strategic planning. For thirteen years she was the clinical coordinator for cardiopulmonary services at Fairview University Medical Center, also in Minneapolis. There she managed the daily operations for a 99-person department. Ms. Dickinson earned a master’s degree in health and human services from St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis. She completed her undergraduate studies at Bethel College in St. Paul, where she majored in organizational studies. Ms. Dickinson is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on numerous committees related to respiratory care and women’s health.
