Gene Fleming
President and CEO
Mr. Fleming’s career in hospital management spans more than 30 years, with executive roles at Quorum Health Group, HCA and, most recently, Surgical Alliance Corporation. There, as President and CEO, he oversaw development of surgical hospitals and centers in partnership with physicians.
During a 14-year span, Mr. Fleming served as CEO of three hospitals. His experience extends to a larger scale, as well, through his tenure as President of HCA’s Eastern Group, where he led 75 hospitals with revenues of $3 billion.
He received his BSBA and MBA from East Carolina University and served seven years in the Air Force. He has also served on the boards of the Florida Hospital Association, Florida League of Hospitals and the Federation of American Hospitals. Mr. Fleming is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
