Dan Hollingshead
VP Operations

Mr. Hollingshead joined Cogent in 2006 as the operations Vice President for the northeastern region. In this role he oversees the operations of programs at nine hospitals, including Cogent’s largest program at Temple University Hospital. He has worked closely with this team as they have integrated into the teaching services at Temple. Prior to joining Cogent, Mr. Hollingshead was the regional vice president of operations for Fresenius Medical Care Extracorporeal Alliance. He covered a nine-state, 100 employee region. In this role, Mr. Hollingshead successfully completed tenure on a Lean Six Sigma Team that was responsible for identifying and improving contract and billing flow, enabling the realization substantial incremental annual revenue. Mr. Hollingshead has also worked as the manager of perfusion services at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, and as the manager-perfusion services and chief pediatric perfusionist at Columbia Sunrise Hospital, Desert Springs Hospital, Valley Hospital and University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Hollingshead earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix and his certification in perfusion technology from Northeastern University.
