Joanne Loeper
VP Operations
Ms. Loeper is the Regional Vice President of operations for the southeast region. In this role, she oversees the operations of programs at seven hospitals, including Cogent’s largest program at Lee Memorial Health System. She has been an integral part of several quality initiative pilot programs that Cogent has launched at the corporate level and at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala. Prior to joining Cogent, she served as the administrative director for oncology services at University Community Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Loeper has also worked as a vice president at Fresenius Medical Care. Her extensive experience includes profit and loss management, strategic planning and multi-site facility management. Ms. Loeper began her medical career as a nurse, and quickly moved into administration with a focus on quality management. She earned her nursing degree from Mass Bay Community College, her BA from Eckerd College and earned her MBA from the University of Sarasota.
