Mike Martinez
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Martinez oversees not only our corporate facilities, but also the technology systems used in our hospital-based clinical programs around the country. Prior to joining Cogent, he was Director and Chief Technology Officer at Children’s Hospital and Health Center in San Diego, where he was responsible for planning and directing all system activities, as well as the management of several information technology groups. Previously Mr. Martinez served as Chief Information Officer at Regency Healthcare, a national long-term care operator that runs over 100 facilities nationwide, and as Director of Technical Services for St. Joseph Health System, an integrated healthcare delivery system based in Orange, CA.
In addition to his 20 years in the healthcare information field, Mr. Martinez holds a bachelor’s in business administration degree, with an emphasis in computer applications and systems, from California State University – Fresno.
